Replicant: What was Officer Daley's first name?

Patti: It was Doris Daley. Apparently, Alan likes the name Doris.

Patti,

Was Alan a crazy director to work with or was he fun?

He was both. Alan's a great guy and very quirky. I had a great time working with him.

Ms. Tippo: Thank you for coming by to speak with us today smile.gif

I was wondering, did you learn anything as an actor working on this show which helped you down the road as an actor?

Piano_Man,

At the time, it was my first series and I was a little shy and I was intimidated by all of them. But they were all very nice and great to work with. Harrison Page is a very kind man.

Dave,

It was my first TV series and I had done theater a lot before that and I still do lots of theater. Everyone always says that theater and TV are the same, but in fact they are entirely different. The media are completely different.

I had to learn a lot about what is required for the camera. I had to learn to keep my face still for the camera. I was young then.

I have never been on another series for that long. I didn't appreciate how great it was at the time.

I did learn what it was like on a set and the protocols on a set. How to work with all the different directors.

Were your co-actors, including Alan, just as funny off camera as they were on camera?

Patti,

WOW Sledge Hammer! must have made you very happy because it was such a big hit!

Did people recognize you in the street in 1986 when you were filming it?

Stasher,

For the most part, yes. There's always some sort of tension on a set that is due to having to do things on time, and due to little petty grievances. But overall, we had a good time.

Matt,

Yeah. And it's a funny thing because people don't know where they know you from, but they think that they know you, so you have to go along. Finally, you say, "Maybe you know me from Sledge Hammer!"

And it was really cool to have my grandparents see me every week and all my family and friends. That was nice.

Hi Patti & thank you so much for hanging out with us & patiently answering our questions!

You mentioned that you've done lots of theater. What are some of your favorite theater roles? Will you be on stage anytime soon & if so, when/where?

Are there some roles you'd like to play, but haven't yet?
